Leather & Lace

My turtleneck obsession strikes again, but this time in a more feminine/edgier form. I layered a silky lace slip underneath to convert the sweater to an over-sized tunic and to give off a dainty girly vibe. I like the contrast of leather and lace and how its a juxtaposition of sexy but innocent (which every girl secretly loves!) I would definitely stick to neutrals when pairing the two, or else it could give off a "Pretty Woman" vibe; a classic but not necessarily the classiest.

To finish the look, I threw on a camel blazer over my shoulders, grabbed for my vintage briefcase, and voila!

Camel and grey are my favorite color combination this season! They compliment each other so well and it's become really easy to depend on them for an effortless look. When putting a look together using the combo, pop a color in the mix for a fresh feel or keep the luxe vibe going and just simply incorporate black. You can never go wrong with black! Never.

I've had these over-the-knee boots for years and they never seem to go out of style. I like how they take the outfit to a whole other level and really give it a high fashion touch. I try to stay away from anything body-con or a too short hemline to keep the look tasteful. Leggings and an oversized cardigan are normally my go-to combo for these boots when I'm in the mood for a more casual/relaxed look.

Just keep in mind, a little peek-a-boo lace goes a long way! Xo
