Beauty Rush

I wanted to stray away from fashion for a second and share with you some of my current favorite beauty products (a mix of high and low) :

  1. St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse in Dark  This product is my holy-grail of self tanners! I have very fair skin and the amount of time and sun damage involved for me to tan is just not worth it. I have tried so many self tanners in the past and they all turn me yellow, streaky, and take layers & layers to achieve a base tan; that's not the case with this product!  I apply 2 layers all over with a tanning mitt before I go to bed and shower the excess off the following morning. It's a bit pricey ($55) but my tan lasts about a week and the bottle up to 3 months. Don't forget to exfoliate before you apply and keep your skin extra moisturized for longer lasting results!
  2. Moroccan Oil  This is a dry oil which can be applied to either dry or wet hair. I start at the tips and rub it in all the way up to my roots. Keeps my hair hydrated and silky. Adds shine and also serves as a heat protectant. A little goes a long way! I use roughly half a dime size. Also smells amazing! ($45)
  3. Mask of Magnaminty by Lush  I was introduced to this product by a friend and ever since its been my go to face mask. I have sensitive skin and this mask does not break me out nor cause irritation. The smell of mint is very calming so I like to put this mask on after a long day to relax. Soothes and refreshes! ($13)
  4. Real Techniques Buff Brush  The only brush I use for my foundation. I buff my face all over and it really leaves an airbrush finish. Super soft bristles & easy to clean. ($9)
  5. Real Techniques Powder Brush  Super soft and multipurpose! ($9)
  6. Burt's Bees Blemish Stick  Occasionally I'll get an annoying zit on the most obvious area and this just zaps it away! I roll it on a clean surface and the zit dries out in hours! Love this!! ($8)
  7. Batiste Dry Shampoo  Washing your hair everyday is not only very damaging and unhealthy for it but also time consuming and unpractical! This refreshes my hair and also adds volume! Third day hair is the best anyways!! ($9)
  8. MAC Sheer Blush in Peaches  My go to everyday blush! It has a peachy tone that compliments any skin tone but especially a fresh tan. ($25)
  9. Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation  I get so many compliments and questions about my foundation and the answer is always a shocker. I have used so many expensive foundations ranging from MAC to Lancome to Dior and I still prefer this drugstore brand! Super cheap pricing but amazing quality! Foundations are supposed to create the illusion of a blank canvas for the rest of your products and this is exactly what this does for me! Leaves my skin smooth and flawless! ($5)
  10. Rimmel London Lipstick in Nude Delight  I am all about a nude lip and this is my go to everyday nude. It has a peachy warm undertone. It's the perfect compliment to my favorite blush without washing me out. Great creamy consistency; a good sheer coverage. Known as a great dupe for MAC's Shy Girl. ($4)
