Hi my loves! Kept things pretty casual on this particular day to just run a few errands and catch up on some reading at my favorite coffee shop, Octane, in Atlanta. I wore a loose Comme des Garcons long sleeve tee that I absolutely adore! It's not just the logo that I love, but also I've been on the hunt for the perfect red/white striped shirt for the longest! It's a classic staple that is the epitome of Parisian chic! I dream of one day wearing one by the Eiffel Tour, maybe even a beret to match, laying on the grass, reading a book, sigh. 'Til I get that in the making, I guess sporting it around local coffee shops will just have to do for now...
I added my favorite pair of jeans of the moment for an edgy flair to contrast the classic piece. I get a lot of compliments on these and I tell everyone how easily I added the tears and distress myself with a pair of scissors and a razor blade; Pinterest may have added some guidance as well. I try not to wash them as long as I can to prevent fading and to also prevent the frayed edges from unraveling too much. Honestly, this goes for all of my denim. Anyone else go a few (or many many) wears without washing their denim?
I added a few simple gold wrist pieces to finish up the look. In the past, I liked more of an over-sized/boyfriend-sized watch, but I'm really loving my smaller vintage inspired Casio. For Christmas, I asked for a couple of simple bracelets from my favorite store, Madewell, to pile on. They're such great quality, I definitely recommend you inviting a few pieces to your arm party.
And of course I had to incorporate some leopard print in the mix! You can tell how much I love these loafers by the wear I've put them through. They're just so comfy and stylish and can add a bit of edge to any casual outfit I put together. A definite wardrobe must have along with leopard heels!
Anyone noticed I trimmed my hair a few inches? I love it! I might even go shorter soon! Last year I did the first big chop when I turned 20 and I haven't regret it once. I've had long mermaid hair my whole life and I've always wanted to get rid of it all. My cut is so much cooler and edgier now, and I also feel like everyone can now focus more on my face and my outfits rather than all of that hair.
It seems everyone is joining the short hair team now; the Lob is definitely trending! If you've been desiring a change but you're hesitating, just know that it really is just hair at the end of the day and it will grow back. Don't let your hair define you and don't just hold on for security reasons, just go for it! I do recommend consulting with your hairstylist though to see what shorter cut will be the must flattering for you and your face shape.
Always remember, you are beautiful no matter what! Xo
