Happy Monday loves! I hope you had a splendid weekend spending time with family and friends and enjoying lots and lots of Easter themed food and treats. After attending mass, my family threw a fun carne asada (Hispanic style BBQ) and we enjoyed way too much good food and watching the kids go egg hunting. It definitely was a well deserved Sunday!
The weather was warm but still windy so I picked out this dainty but gorgeous peasant style long sleeved dress. I am loving the 70's boho chic trend for spring and this dress just screams that era! To continue the theme, I added these neutral platform sandals that are pretty comfy despite the height. Platforms were on every catwalk for spring (i.e. Saint Laurent & Chloe) and I am totally swooning! They're so versatile and can be paired with boyfriend jeans, bell bottoms, peasant dresses, skater skirts, dressed up or down, just endless possibilities! I'm so obsessed that I also recently purchased another similar pair in a cognac color and also a pair that's more of a flatform style; soon to come on the blog!
This colorful and vibrant handmade woven clutch made for the perfect splash of color to the outfit. I also added my favorite pair of turquoise earrings that popped against the blonde highlights in my hair.
BTW, loving how light and blonde my hair is getting! I haven't loved my hair color in so long but I am loving it now! If any of you are interested in this hair look, just go to your hairstylist and ask for bayalage ombre blonde highlights. Depending on the color and status of your current hair, it might take a few trips to the salon which is kinda costly but it's so worth it! Invest! After all, your hair is an everyday accessory!
