There's no denying that fashion is having a huge retro moment right now! Styles from the 60's, 70's, and 90's are having a major comeback. Lately my own love for vintage and retro styles have influenced my personal style and I'm not complaining. I'm drawn towards pieces that are feminine yet boyish, eclectic yet understated, sexy yet dainty, but most importantly: effortless!
But vintage wasn't always trendy. It's hard to believe that not so long ago, thrifting was a hipster/budgetista's secret to finding one of a kind pieces. Now most fast-fashion retailers are packed full with similar designs. Some may deem the aesthetic as "stole it from my granny-esque," but I find it refreshing. There's something quite "effortless" and individualistic about reinventing or recycling fashion from the past.
